REMEMBERING THE NINETIES
In what could have been called ‘Classics for Covid’, as we currently cannot get out to rallies to see preserved vehicles, here is an album of colour photographs from the years 1989-1997. Taken by well-known rally correspondent, David Reed, with informative updated captions from Mike Forbes, they show a wide range of restored lorries, a number of which have not been seen for a long time or are now in other liveries, plus a few which are still well-known on the scene today.
Going back 25 years or so, taken at different rallies and road runs around the country, they will jog memories or make up for not being able to attend these events at the time, as well as serving as an interesting comparison with the preserved lorries which can be seen at rallies these days.
