What's in the issue

Buses of Britain Book 4 / On the Buses Book 18  The second part of Douglas MacDonald’s round-up of Border Crossings - Scottish buses in exile, vehicles that were sold after use for further service in England and Wales. We also visit South and West Wales for a look at a number of independent bus and coach operators. We look at the Municipal fleets of Preston and Sheffield, the latter including a fine selection of colour images of Sheffield trams, which survived as a system until 1960. Completing our 'all-bases' coverage of the British isles, we also have rare colour pictures of the buses operated by the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee in rural Ireland. To finish off this heady mix, we also take a look at Britain's biggest independent bus and coach operator, Lancashire United, which was based at Atherton, near Leigh. One hundred pages, packed with information and previously unpublished photographs - a must for every bus enthusiasts.
