Issue seven of AMD celebrates two great institutions: the DB range and Aston’s close ties with James Bond.
Marking the car’s 75th anniversary, we look at a rare DB1, comparing it with the current DB11. We then explore the history of the DB4 for its own 65th anniversary and explain what to look for when buying a DB7 3.2. Since 25 years since the concept on which it was based, the Vantage Project, make its debut, we drive a Vanquish similar to that used in Die Another Day across the formidable Cat & Fiddle road in the Peak District, explaining its role in the film.
